Microchip Extends eXtreme Low Power 32-bit Microcontroller Family

The eXtreme Low Power (XLP) devices feature large memory in small packages (4x4mm), providing ample battery life for space-constrained applications. With the inclusion of several connectivity options, Core Independent Peripherals and feature-rich development boards, the “GPM” MCUs are well suited for digital audio applications, gaming/entertainment devices, Internet of Things (IoT) sensor nodes and portable medical devices.

• Low power: optimize power consumption for batteries
• Low-voltage sleep mode with RAM retention < 500 nA
• Low cost: prices as low as $0.60 in high volume
• Small packages: 4 × 4 mm, 5 × 5 mm and 6 × 6 mm
• Core Independent Peripheral integration
• ADC, comparators, RTCC, WDT, CLC
• Flexible PWMs/IC/OC/Timers (MCCP and SCCP)
• Analog integration
• 12-bit 200 ksps ADC, 5-bit DAC, comparators
• Supported by MPLAB Code Confi gurator for easy set up
